Considering the premature abandonment of children’s education by their parents who lack the necessary resources, and by the students themselves who lack a vision. Due to being both aware of, and the victims of doom mask denial about real problems and the multifaceted crisis that is ravaging the Republic of South Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, its impact on the living conditions of its residents across several areas (e.g., socio-economic, educational, mental, etc.);
How does one become successful in this environment?
In anticipation of the upcoming event, we are acutely aware of the challenges and the unfortunate state of denial that often surrounds the real issues facing the people of South Africa and DR Congo, along with the complex crisis that affects the well-being of its residents across various domains, such as socio-economic, educational, and psychological. These issues will have a profound impact on communities, potentially leading to concerns like the premature abandonment of children’s education by their parents due to resource constraints and a potential lack of vision among students themselves. The question that will arise is, how can individuals achieve success in such a challenging environment?
To address these pressing matters, we will be organizing a series of enlightening seminars at esteemed educational institutions. These seminars will be conducted at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, the University of Kinshasa, the Protestant University of Kinshasa, the University of Pedagogy, and the University of Commerce in Congo. These universities and their students, as future leaders and change-makers, will serve as the ideal platforms for exploring solutions to these critical issues.
During these seminars, we will engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and collaborate with both faculty members and students. By fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange, we aim to empower the academic community to play an active role in addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by South Africa and its residents.
The universities and their students will play a pivotal role in these endeavours, as they represent the intellectual and innovative potential that can drive positive change. Through these collaborative efforts, we aim to inspire the next generation to take on these challenges, envision a brighter future, and work collectively towards creating a more prosperous and equitable society.
